Three steps, from a shared sandbox you can use right now to live credentials once your account is approved and topped up.

1. Sandbox, no sign-up Test mode

   The Quickstart samples already contain a shared test client id and secret, so copy, paste and run works straight away.

   • Shared by everyone, and test mode only
   • Fake, deterministic data, never charged
   • We may rotate it, so do not build a product on it

   Every sandbox response carries "mode": "test".

2. Your own test credentials, approved by us

   Sign in with Google, or with an email address and a password, then tell us about your company and what you are building. We review every request, usually within one working day, and you can keep using the sandbox meanwhile.

   This developer account is separate from any checkmystreet.co.uk account.

3. Live credentials, after a first top-up

   Once we approve your account, top up your credit balance by card in the console. Your live client then appears next to your test client, with your balance, and every successful call draws from it.

   Prepaid by card only: no invoices, no subscription and no credit. Prices are on the pricing page.
