code is the specific reason. unknown_sector means the postcode sector, here EH1 1, is not one we value.

What to do

  • Check the postcode is in England or Wales before you call. Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands are outside coverage.
  • Tell your user plainly, for example: "We can only value homes in England and Wales."
  • If the postcode is in England or Wales, check it for typos. A mistyped postcode can point somewhere else.
